My Lush Holy Grail

My Lush Holy Grail

I have mentioned many times on my little bloggy that I am a complete Lushy!

There is nothing I love more than wandering around Lush browsing the different colourful products, try and testing new and loved items. And especially recommending them to my beautiful friendlings.

I wanted to share with you my favourite products, if you are a newbie to lush or just want to try something new I reckon there's something for all in this bunch!!

The Comforter - Big pink and white swirlness of loveliness. It's smells like blackcurrent and when you crumble off a small part and pop under running water it produces the most beautiful bubbles and turns the water a lovely pink colour.

Ro's Argan Body Conditioner - This is hard to say, but this may be my all time favourite product. I have spoke about this numerous times on the bloggy .. The scent .. sweet roses ohmygoodness it's amazing. It leaves the sking super soft and the scent stays on the skin for hours.

Cedric's Caldren Bath Melt - This one I save for those moments. Those days when I just can't shake that feeling .. Of anxiety/panicness/sadness/illness or general feeling poopness. This one is saved for those occasions. It's gentle and soothing. Leaves the water silky and milky and the pouch that's filled with oats you can use to exfoliate the skin after.

Dreamtime Bath Melt - Bath melts are a thing of beauty. They dissolve in the water and create an oilyness which makes the skin so so soft. The fact it contains lavender makes this product perfect for before bed and I think it's the perfect pamper product.

Twilight - I like to save Twilight for night times, not only because it's filled with lavender and ovaltine but it's covered in tiny moons and stars. If you're having problems switching off, try popping one of these into your bath an hour or so before bed. I think it does wonders.

Butterball - so simple yet so fabulous. No Butterball isn't many fancy shades of colour. And it doesn't give off the scent of sweets. It's white and speckled, full of cocoa butter. I buy these baby's in bulk as I know it'll be the first thing I reach for when getting my products home. Soothing and hydrating what more could you ask for.

RoseJam Bubbleroon - If you like rose this is for you. Imagine between a melt and a bubble bar. It leaves you skin really soft and smells just beautiful, extremely fresh! And conveniantly breaks in two.

Lip Scrubs - I like the lip scrubs for days when my lips are super dry. I rub a tiny bit of the sugar scrub on my lips then remove with a warm flannel pop on a lip balm and ready to go.

So that's it lovelys. I hope you've enjoyed today's post :) and maybe found some new bits to try. If you have any recommendations for me please let me know bellow xx

Our Blogging Event

This is a bit of an unusual post for the old bloggy today, but last Thursday at work I got to be part of a bloggers event evening :) It is no secret on my blog that I work in the wild world of beauty and get to experience some amazing things, but it's a rarity that I post about it on here. I've taken part in bloggers events before when previously working for Benefit, yet this was a new experience from an Elizabeth Arden perspective! And I wanted to tell you all because I blooming LOVED it!!!!

Here are the lovely bloggers who attended ...

We kept the evening very simple with skin scan consultations and foundation checks. Our on counter tools read the levels in your skin and I have found this the most accurate way of helping ladies find their best fit of SkinCare. Discovering why their skin is behaving the way it is.

Next a foundation check to find the perfect colour for you. Basically this is a life saver it blocks out all the ghastly lighting in store so we can find your truest  match. I'll pop a link below about the lovely lady blogging over at FlyingFoxBlog.com and you can have a mooch about her thoughts on the technology :)

Lastly I got to offer our 7 minute massages to all our lovely guests, boy were my hands soft after with all the Gold Capsules (I know if you're a regular reader of my blog you'll have seen these pop up many times they're a firm favourite) :D

I love this treatment as it's a fantastic way for customers to relax without disturbing the makeup. All the ladies complimented me after on the treatment for how fabulous it felt and how silky the capsules were.

It's fantastic for working out any tension as you wouldn't believe how much we actually use our necks and how neglected they can feel. I must have bored the girls senseless of telling them how important it is to make sure you take your lotions and potions up your neck to and not just on the facey haha!!! :D

So I just wanted to share the experience with you really. I know you all know all the thoughts and products I discuss are 100% my own and that I only talk about things on here that I'm truly passionate about and feel you must hear of but just to restate!!

Hope you enjoyed the post lovelys xxx

The Power Of The Pamper Evening

The Power of the Pamper Evening

When you are having one of those days that you just can not shake. Trust me we all have them. A bad day, a bad week. Something's just make you feel a little blue, that stick around and drive you crazy.

There. That would be my absolute necessary time for a pamper evening!

First things first take off the days grime, take off the make up! I'm currently using the Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Oil. A nice hot flannel and get all that day old make up off your face, best feeling ever.

Pop a hair mask on, if I'm washing my hair I'll apply my hair mask to dry hair and let it do it's thing then ...

Draw a bath, a nice hot bath. I like to watch netflix on my iPad or YouTube videos an just zone out for a little while surrounded by the bubbles. I'll have normally chosen some lush goodies to make the bath super duper lovely.

Once soaked and normally after a little snooze I'll rinse off. Pummis my tootsies, nothing better than soft feet. And pop on a body butter, one that smells delicious :)

Face mask time, I'll pick a face mask depending on what my skin seems to be doing. Relax for ten to fifteen then complete my nighttime skin care routine!

Pop on some clean pjs, light some candles and then pick the evenings viewing material. At the moment this is including The OC as I'm loving re watching my favourite episodes.

Taking time out just for yourself and to make yourself feel better, I think is really important. Especially if you've been feeling slightly rotton. Everytime I have a bad day you can guarantee this is what I'll be doing at the end of it.

What gets you out of a bad schlump?? Any go to tips?? :) xx

July Favourites

July Favourites

Time to talk to you lovely bunch about what I have been loving through out the month of July.

Face Masks - this month I have definitely been loving having a bit of a pamper and applying a facemask when hopping out of the shower. The ones I have found myself reaching for most regularly are:

Origins Clear Improvement - Active charcoal mask. I've been reaching for this throughout July when my skin has really been feeling a little urgh. You know just bumpy and blemished, after using this my skin feels calmer and clearer.

I've also loved The Body Shop Honey and Oat mask. I've been using this most often as I find it balancing for my skin. It cleanses, polishes and moisturises in one. It smells absolutely gorgeous and leaves the skin super soft. It's exfoliating and hydrating, when I use this twice a week it leaves my skin glowing and much more manageable.

Exfoliating - Through out the month of July I've been a little stricter with myself on my weekly beauty regime. Top of the list remembering to exfoliate. The one I've been using is Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed. This month I've been trying to finish up what's in my bathroom cupboards, I am the typical girl who uses up a quarter of a product and then starts something new. I completely forgot I had this scrub, you apply it to dry skin and then wet your fingertips and in circular movements massage the skin. Two things first the scrub starts to change colour and secondly it becomes pleasently warm. I have been making sure I do this at least once a week.

Make up favourites:

Nars Creamy Concealer - I spoke about this concealer in a previous post so I won't go in to too much detail. But amazing coverage, none drying fantastic colour the perfect product.

MAC Dip Down Gel Eyeliner - I have completely fell back in love with this. It's so easy to apply, highly pigmented and really soft. It stays in place all day and being a rich brown is a little more natural than complete black.

Moisturising - I am definitely one for moisturising, religiously after showering. This month I've loved Hawaiian tropics Lime Coolada body butter it smells like a dream and sinks into the skin strait away.

The OC - blast from the past I know, but this has come back into my life and I have completely fallen back in love. I want my very own Seth Cohen :)

Spring/Summer SkinCare

Spring/Summer SkinCare

I am definitely one of those ladies that notices a difference in my skin depending on the time of year it is. Saying that I thought I'd tell you what products I've been using to battle the change in the weather.

So firstly to tell you a little about my skin - the condition of my skin is dehydrated yet 'type' I'd say I'm combination. However being combination is the typical signs of having a more dehydrated skin type. So I still get enlarged pores and blackheads with the occasional break out, most commonly around my chin area.

I follow the rules of cleanse, tone, treat, eye and moisturise.

I'm going to try and condense this down as much as possible so it's not pages :)

Cleanse:

AM - Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Cleansing Wash. This product is mild enough to use on a daily basis whilst contains micro beads to gently exfoliate the skin. I find this super refreshing for morning time.
PM - On an evening I'll repeat this step twice. Once to remove make up and a second to clean the skin. I've just finished up the Origins Clean Energy cleansing oil whilst I would repurchase this but I have so many oils in my cupboard left to try, I simply would pour a small amount into my hands, massage into skin keeping eyes until last. Then remove with a warm flannel. Then repeat! This is my favourite step! (The only down side of this product is the fact it's a pour system instead of a pump, it can become a little messy) I have now moved on to The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil :) so far it's lovely!

Tone:
AM/PM - I follow cleansing with a toner I'm currently using Lush's Tea Tree Water facial sprits which is an antibacterial toner. I simply spray this on a cotton pad a swipe this over the skin.

Treat:
AM - I always treat my skin with a serum, on a morning I'll use The Body Shops Nutriganics Smoothing Serum. This helps to keep my skin smooth, soft and moisturised through out the day.
PM - on an evening I'll usually use Elizabeth Arden's Lift and Firm Ceremide Gold Capsules. One capsule with cover the face and neck. It helps to rebuild the natural ceremides in the skin, it strengthens, maintains water and helps increase the cellular turn over.

Eye:

AM/PM - Antipodes Kiwi eye cream. Ohmygoodness I love this eye cream so much. I get such dry eyes, so much so that they actually flake. Making applying eyeshadow impossible not a good look. This eye cream is super gentle and really soothing on the eyes. It is also super hydrating and has been super at banishing those pesky dry patches.

Moisturise:

AM - When its day time I definitely like a lotion when I'm going to be applying make up on top. Or a cream that at least feels refreshing on the skin and not tacky to touch. Elemis Pro collegen Marine Cream is super hydrating but light in texture. However it is SPF free so I have to add a separate on top ( that's for another post though) or the Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Lotion SPF 15 this is great day time lotion that balances the skin perfectly.
PM - Again Marine Cream is what I've been reaching for on an evening under my gold capsules definitely feels like luxury when using these two together.

And that folks is pretty much my skin care routine, I'll be doing another post in regards to masks, exfoliants and blemish control. If you have anything you'd like to request to see on the blog in regards to skin care let me know :)

Sanctuary Spa Brightening Facial In - A - Box

A 30 minute step - by - step pampering treatment to enhance your skin for a radiant glow.

I was lucky enough to receive this as a pressie from one of my beautiful friendlings a while back, and as it's Sunday and I'm feeling a little delicate from last night I decided to treat myself to a pamper.

This is basically a step by step guide to complete a sanctuary brightening facial. It includes: Polishing Hot Cloth Cleanser. Radiance Exfoliator. Treat With Moisture Boosting Mask. Brightening Eyegel. Illuminating Moisture Lotion.

So I poddled on into my bathroom and following the guide lines on the box started with Hot Cloth Cleanser. It's similar to other hot cloth cleansers that I've tried, massaged easily into the skin and smelt fresh and 'spa' like, that eucalyptus scent :)

The Radiance Exfoliator - Is scrub form and is more ibrasive than normal exfolaitors I choose. But left my skin feeling super soft and squeaky clean!

But oh my goodness the Moisture Boosting Mask - I opened up the little sachet and was impressed with the amount of product for a start. Next the texture I scooped it out and applied it to my skin and definitely made the 'ooooo' of loveliness sound. It just feels so luxurious on the skin, it's super thick in consistancy and really smooth and cooling but immediately feels nourishing. This has definitely been the stand out product in the set that I know I'll be purchasing the full size of!!! :) my skin felt soft, smooth and hydrated once removing with the muslin cloth provided.

I followed with the Brightening Eye Gel - which was cool and refreshing. I can imagine on puffy or tired eyes it feeling calming and soothing.

Then finished my routine with a separate night cream as I'll be going to sleeps shortly and wouldn't want the SPF. I definitely would recommend this to any of you wanting to treat someone as I think it makes the perfect gift. Or if you are planning a pamper night for yourself sometime and fancy trying some new products :) x x

All eyes focus on tube pants!!!

My Everyday Makeup

Hello my lucky ones :) today I'm going to talk to you about what I've been using makeup wise. As its become warmer recently I've switched up a few of my products.

The Body Shop - Instablur. A new base product that smooths the appearance of enlarged pores and fine lines. This feels silky smooth on the skin and I do see a difference in the size of my pores, I have found when applying it with my real techniques make up sponge I receive the best results as it lightly smooths the product over the skin.

Este Lauder - Day Wear Bb Cream in the shade medium. This product I've had a little while and completely forgot about, it got lost in amongst my beauty stash. The shade I have is warmer than my skin tone but when blended looks even and gives a slight warmth to my complexion. It gives a light coverage but definitely is buildable for those areas of more concern. Plush it's smells really fresh like cucumber, lovely for warmer weather.

NARS - Creamy concealer. Now this product .. Oh there is not enough words! I have never seen so much difference from a concealer. First the consistency it gives a full coverage but its not drying and doesn't crease. The colour match is perfect and it lasts amazingly through out the day.

Max factor - Pan stick shade 14
MAC - Cream Colour Base Hush
MAC - shadow in mystery. I spoke about these three products in my recent monthly favourites so I'm not going to go into too much detail as they haven't changed and you can read my opinions of them there. But I'm still loving them and I think they create a perfect look for this time of year.

The Body Shop - Shimmer Brick Coral. This product accompanies my contour and highlight perfectly. With its coral tone it gives the perfect sweep of peach to the cheeks leaving the skin glowing.

RIMMEL - Glam eyes liquid eyeliner black. This has become my go to eyeliner. The brush is small an thin making it easy to apply a precise line. And the actual eyeliner is smooth and jet black making it easy to create the perfect cat eye.

So this is pretty much exactly what I've been wearing on a day to day basis (when not at work of course) and I've been really loving the finished look.

The Body Shop Perfume Oils

The Body Shop Perfume Oils

The Body Shop perfume oils have been a firm favourite of mine for a couple of years now.

I've gone through many of these little bottles of loveliness including coconut and vanilla both beautiful, my current obsessions are Atlas Mountain Rose and Indian Midnight Jasmine 15ml.

The bottle has a small plastic applicator attached to the lid making it easy to apply the oil to the skin. The scents are long lasting through out the day, they give off a subtle fragrance which definitely holds well. Because the product is concentrated the actual bottles although look small will last you ages.

I wish I was better a describing scents but Atlas Mountain Rose is sweet and floral. It's not overly musky it's more on the fresher side of the rose category.

Indian Midnight Jasmine is the most incredible fragrance I literally have become obsessed. So much so   I've made comments that friends smell nice when it's actually this I can smell on my skin!! Haha sounds ridiculous but its true!!  :D

June Favourites

June has been a month I feel I blinked and it's just passed on by. So sharing with you all the things I have loved is a nice way to round up!

Starting with body - Ro's Argan Body Conditioner from Lush.

I have spoken about this product previously on the bloggy. You apply this all over the body after cleansing the skin as you would normally. I like to apply conditioner to my hair and whilst that does its thing apply this to my body and leave for a few minutes before rinsing. It is nourishing and leaves you feeling super soft, you can either skip moisturising or if like me your skins a little on the dehydrated side follow with a body cream. The best part is definitely the scent, a fresh rosé that is nothing of the 'old lady fragrance' pop into your nearest Lush if you're a fan of things floral.

Is it odd to comment on a razor type? I'm not sure, but these are definitely a firm favourite of mine. Not just this month but all year round! I've yet to find a razor that leaves my legs as soft and nick free. The Venus and Olay honey edition. The cushioning strips help to hydrate and protect the skin whilst shaving.

Make up - Mac shadow in mystery.

I have been using this shade for my eyebrows since purchasing about 3 moths ago and it is the closest match I have found. I'm still using my Mac 266 brush to apply the product (I have done a brow routine post previously) and finishing with a setting gel. Previously many of the powders I have tried for my brows have either been to dark in colour or had a reddish undertone, the depth of this isn't too dark and the colour is more ashy than red!

Max factor pan stick in the shade 14 and Mac's cream colour base in Hush.

These two products have been on my face all through out the month of June. Starting with contouring my cheek bones, I've been taking the pan stick on a NARS Kabuki Artisan 21 and gently applying and blending upwards. The colours warm with out looking orangey on the skin and apples beautifully.

Following with Hush on the tops of my cheek bones to highlight. This is a beautiful pearlescent golden pink, which gives the right amount of shimmer with no glitter. I have been applying this with the Real Techniques Stippling Brush which gives and even application.

Both products blend into the skin smoothly looking natural and soft.

And lastly Haircare - The Body Shop Ginger Shampoo

The Ginger Shampoo, this product has literally changed my hair or more like my scalp. As I suffer with eczema occasionally I can have flare ups on my scalp. Whether it being from trying to hydrate my locks with rich products that are too much for my poor scalp to handle or from stress. This shampoo is gentle, cleansing and not drying in the slightest. It completely gets rid of any build up and flakiness, it is the best anti dandruff shampoo I've tried.

And that my lovelies is it for this month :) what have your favourites been?

The Overdrawn Lip ...

Well my lovelys today I'm here to talk to you about all things lip!

On a daily basis I preach to ladies the importance of lip liner and the difference it makes to the look of a fuller, luscious pout. It stops your lipstick from moving or  bleeding out.

But when it comes to my own make up I can get a little lazy with lining my lips. That I until now.

Overdrawing the lip line can make such a big difference to the way your whole make up look is finished. Done in the right way your lips can still look natural but super full.

Products used MAC Matte Kinda Sexy Lipstick and Subculture Lippencil.

Products used MAC Rebel Lipstick and Current Lippencil.

Do you line your lips? What are your favourite products??

The Facial Glow You Can Get At Home

Hello you lovely bunch.

Firstly apologies for my long absense away from the little old bloggy. The only excuse is life and life doing what it does best and distracting me.

But I wanted to come back to you with a review of a product that I'm blooming passionate about. It's an Elizabeth Arden product. Now this is a rarity that I'll discuss anything work related with you beauties because I want you to trust that my opinions are my own and 100% honest.

However this is just too good to not share with you all! It is the Ceremide 5 Minute Facial.

Now this product is a little on the strange side I must admit. It comes in two parts the foaming facial and the replenishing serum. You apply the mask to uncleansed skin, watch it foam up and then let it dissolve along with your make up. Now the sensation of this product is what makes it different. It almost feels like  intense pins and needles, with a slight warming sensation. If not prepared beforehand this could very well appear like a reaction, but I assure you it's normal.

Discussing with many ladies the sensation whilst using the mask is different for all. Ranging from the slightest tingle too an intense, almost popping candy like feeling.

Myself included on first time using the mask it felt very intense. Once removing the mask with cool water, applying the serum gives a cooling affect to the skin which is highly soothing. Leaving the skin super soft.

Now it's not until the day after using this that you see the results, but boy will you see them. My skin just looked amazing! Now I'm not just saying it, I can promise you lovely bunch that apart from getting 20% off I purchased the mask out of my own pocket!! And once finished will definitely be repurchasing it!!! The radiance it gives the skin had me sold strait away!! It looks brighter, smoother and my pores are visibly reduced!! With use the sensation from the mask has become less and less intense and is much more comfortable on the skin. It truly gives and at home spa like glow. And as a busy bee I do find it extremely difficult to get out for a pamper and a facial on a regular basis. But a pamper evening I can do in my bathroom I'm all for.

Now as a pricy item of £70 I would urge any of you wanting to try this to pop along to your local Arden counter and receive an express facial and see what I'm talking about. If any of you are in Bullring please pop in and say hello :) I'd be happy to show you!! I'm truly in love with the product and really believe you guys will be too!!!

This photo is take the day after using the mask and I am wearing make up but you can see the skin looks bright and clear :)

Have any of you tried the mask yet?? Or anything else like it?? xxx

As Valentines Day looms towards us I've seen many a post about gift guides for that special someone.

But if like me you will be spending your valentines day with beautiful friends this year then here's a little list of what my plans are. Please share with what you are doing this year :) xx

I'm going to London on Tuesday for shopping and to see the Beautiful Taylor Swift at the O2 I can not wait! But whilst there I plan to treat myself to some goodies!!! :)

My appointment is with the lovely Melissa who has promised my skin to feel revitalised and refreshed. I shall catch you all up after my treatment.

After this I shall return home to an evening with lovely friends with Chinese food and the plan to watch American Beauty. Then on Saturday night a night on the town with hopefully a new outfit and new shoes :D But plenty of cocktails and dancing!!

January Favourites

We have finished the first month of 2014 and I don't think I have ever experienced a month so crazy. I must admit i am highly anticipating Springs arrival! But I will sit tight until then.

Things I have been loving through January.

MAC's Morange lipstick.
I have pretty much worn this for all evenings and specific days since purchasing it at the beginning of the month. It's a beautiful red/orange colour, über bright that completes any make up look.

Rituals Honey Touch Indian Rose & Himilaya Honey - Body Cream.
I was lucky enough to receive this as a gift as a birthday present at the start of the month and I have been obsessed with it since, it smells so god damn scrummy!! Hydrates brilliantly and sinks into the skin super quick.

Clarins Extra Comfort Anti Pollution Cleanser.
This cleanser has been a new addition to my January loves but it's been a firm favourite since the first time I used it. The consistency is rich and creamy, removes make up beautifully and leaves the skin fresh and smooth.

Benefit's Laugh with me Lee Lee fragrance. You know how they say fragrance is the strongest trigger. Well I've really needed something lately to trigger happy thoughts instead of somber  ones. This perfume brings back the most amazing memories of just starting working in the beauty industry, meeting great friends and generally feeling super HAPPY!! X This scent takes me to a totally different place and that is the magic of frangrance it can really do that. It's the most unique scent sharp but feminine and fruity :)

So that's pretty much it, not loads of favourites but those are the things I've truly been loving! What have you loved this January?? xxx

Winged Eyeliner - MAC's fluid line

Personally I think winged eyeliner is one of the most difficult things to apply when doing make up, let alone on other people.

I have tried so so many different eyeliners from pencils to felt tips, liquid liners to gels. And for a while I believed the easiest eye liner to apply on myself and others was the Dior Art Pen. It's a thin tipped felt tip pen liner that applies beautifully.

However recently trying MAC's fluid gel liner I have completely been converted!! But with this I truly believe part of it is having the right tools! I could only apply this with ease using the MAC 210 brush.

The gel is so soft that it applies beautifully  and is so pigmented. I like to apply it starting from the inner corner, applying the liner closely to my lash line following it round to the end of my eyelashes.

After doing this I apply the wing by drawing from the top down and joining the two lines together. Then fill in to create a more fuller look.

It really is starting to become my favourite    make up look to ware :) have you tried the fluid line?? What's your favourite eyeliner?? xxx

The Brows

Hello you lovely lot! :)

Today I'm coming at you with a different kind of post to what I normally do. I never  talk about work or my experiences within the beauty world. But I've wanted to share my thoughts on the eyebrow for a while so I'll jump right in.

Whilst working for Benefit the brows become such a large focus that it literally makes you look at every persons, whether they be perfect, caterpillars or the tiniest pencil lines.

I wanted to share with you all my eyebrow history (haha doesn't it sound funny!) whilst at university many moons ago now, I decided to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. Prier to this I'd only ever tweezed them myself. My initial reaction was I liked the shape but oh my god it was so painful. I continued this very painful beauty regime for near enough twelve months. Then one evening I stumbled across the Benefit brow bar and that is literally where everything changed. Not only did it open up a whole career path for me but it changed my whole opinion about threading, my eyebrows and how paying a trained consultant made such a dramatic difference.

I had a wax and tint and was amazed my brows looked so much fuller. At Benefit they measure 3 point A,B and C start arch and end. This is exactly how to judge where to apply your brow product. Benefit have established this to be the most universally flattering shape for females.

Over time my brows have improved with leaps and bounds, but having hair removed over and over has caused some  parts not to grow back. So I thought I'd talk with you about how I apply my brow product considering I have quite a difficult brow shape. As not only do I have sparse areas I have dimples at the highest point of my arch making them naturally pointy.

My natural brows.

The brow products I use are a MAC 266 angled brush. Benefit Browzings in the shade Dark. A brow comb and setting gel. I have tried many hard angled brushes and the MAC 266 I have found to be the very best!

Firstly i start by brushing the brow hairs down, then starting from the underneath I draw a strait line from a to b. As my length is way off I then continue b to c and extend the line to where it naturally should end. You can work this out by taking a strait line from the edge of your nose up through your lashes. I then start to lightly fill in the front of my brow making it look as natural as possible, continuing through the thickest part of my brow. Then I join b to c making sure to keep it as strait as possible.

Moving on to my left brow (the better brow) I repeat the same look but don't have to use as much product as this brow is a lot fuller.

And that's pretty much the finished look of the brow!! What brow products do you love to use?? xoxo

MAC Stroke of Midnight Brush Kit/Smoky Eye

Hello you wonderful lot :)

I'm squeezing in a very special post today as it actually my 23rd birthday!!

I love birthdays as they always make you realise how lucky you are and how many amazing people you have around you :)

One of the beautiful pressies I've received today is this MAC Stroke of Midnight brush set and I just had to share it with you. There are five brushes in the collection a 219se 211se 214se 266se and a 227se. All used to create a fantastic smoky eye look! I haven't tried and tested them all as of yet but I love Mac brushes and know they won't disappoint! :)

The main reason I wanted to share the kit with you (apart from it being so pretty) Is the price the collection is £42 for five brushes which is a fab saving compared to if you purchase the brushes separately. I believe it was part of their Christmas collection but if you can still find some online or in store I'd highly recommend grabbing one :)
