Body Shop Bargain

Hello my lovelys :)

This is just a quick post to let you know about a little offer the body shop have on at the moment :)

When you spend £18 or more on their make up or skin care you get to choose a full size body butter absolutely free!!!

I have taken full advantage of this, visiting on two different occasions as I just couldn't resist!! Firstly taking home the new All-in-one BB Cream. A colour adapting tinting cream in shade 02 that offers 24 hour hydration! And the Baked Bronzer in 02 Warm Glow which is a beautiful bronzing highlighter powder which is going to be perfect for Spring/Summer. The Body Butter I took home was in the fragrance Satsuma.

On second visit I finally brought the shimmer cubes palette with the colours orchid purple, candy pink, pearly white and velvet plum! I've wanted this for absolutely ages as I think the colours are beautiful. To go with it I chose the Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask for normal/dry skin. I'm loving face masks at the moment so I'm super duper excited to try this!! Then I chose the Strawberry Body Butter!

Now I'm sure everyone's tried the body butters but if not you really have to!! And considering they retail at £13 and this way you can get a free one with two other lovely products I think it's a great idea!! :D they are so hydrating and smell fricking amazing! I love products that last on the skin all day so these are my all time favourites!!

Has any one taken advantage of the offer? What are your favourite Body Shop products? xxx

Benefit Play Sticks Foundation

This reviews a bit of a random one just because the product is quite old. But I thought I'd share it with you all as it really is one of my all time favourite foundations and that's Benefits Play Sticks foundation in the colour Paper dolls.

'Containing green tea, chamomile and ginkgo biloba, Play Sticks help to promote a healthy complexion while giving natural looking coverage'

The best thing about this foundation is the coverage can be built up so you can have a really nice light weight coverage by applying a sheer layer or a much fuller coverage depending on the amount you apply. I like my foundation to be a fuller coverage but to not look full if that makes sense. Haha :) so I find this perfect for me. Also because it's in a twist up stick form I never waste much product, one of these can last me up to 6 months which is great as the price of the product is £25 but as you don't have to replace it too often it's ok!

When using this I also find that I don't have to conceal areas as much if ever so that's great as its much more speedy! The creamy consistency is lovely and lasts really well on my skin, I'd definitely recommend it :)

Have you tried Play Sticks before? If not what's your favourite foundation?

Lush, Feel Unique, Benefit & Boots Haul :)

Well considering I'm stuck inside cause of the horrible weather again (I'm not brave enough to face the cold, burrrr) I thought I'd do a mini haul for you all to have a little mooch through!

I've done some shopping recently, some of it being online so I'll start with the purchases I made from Feel Unique.

First up Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment 30ml

Having very dry hair I love hair oils and have become slightly obsessed with using and trying different ones. Now I am unable to wash and style my hair without the presence of my trusty oil. The choice for this one was that I've tried and loved the Macadamia deep treatment mask and am sadly scraping the barrel so I need to repurchase as its fricken amazing and smells beautiful! However hair oils tend to be quite pricey so I purchased the smaller 30ml for £10 to give it a little try, and I'm happy to report I love it! Its lightweight yet leaves my hair feeling silky soft and so manageable. Definitely going to purchase the full size when this runs out! Macadamia products are slowly becoming high in my list of hair care.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir 30ml

I picked this up as I wanted to see what all of the fuss was about. Again purchasing the smaller size to trial run. I've been using this after cleansing as a sort of toning step. I'm quite happy with it, I like the smell as I think it's quite spa like but could see why others wouldn't as its quite overpowering. I'm not sure whether I'd repurchase as I haven't used it long enough yet but at the moment I'm enjoying using it :)

This works perfect look skin miracle

'A miracle effect tinted moisturiser that gives flawless finish'
This is a funny little product, when I first pumped it onto the back of my hand I was a little shocked by the colour as it comes out a dark caramel shade, but when applied to skin it blends really evenly. I've been using it under foundation as a nice base, but alone it gives the skin a lovely glow, I think this would be perfect on holidays when having a tan.

Next up is Lush Rehab shampoo and American Cream Conditioner

The Rehab shampoo is a repurchase for me 'Shampoo you hair back to health with cleansing enzymes, softening seaweed and scalp toning essential oils' I love this because it always makes my hair feel so clean! And it's smells lovely slightly citrus like but I think it smells like honey. It's recommended for hair that's slightly on the dryer side so is perfect for my heat damaged locks!

Ok! OMG! The American Cream Conditioner, this may sound a bit much as I only used this for the first time yesterday, but I am in LOVE!! This stuff smells fricken amazing and I can still smell it on my hair soooo much, every time I move I'm trying to smell myself haha :) 'Bring all the boys to the yard with this strawberry vanilla milkshake conditioner. Double strength and extra creamy to leave your hair gorgeously soft and smelling sweetly.' I need time to see whether I notice a difference to my normal conditioner but it feels very soft and lovely so far!

From Benefit I picked up the Tweezerman Slant Tweezers.

My trusty jelly pong pong ones just weren't cutting it anymore. These are pricey retailing at £19.50 but trust me if you're in the need for amazing tweezer and are obsessed with brows as much as I am I urge you to pick up a pair they really are fantastic and worth every penny.

Lastly from Boots I gave in and brought RIMMEL Apocalips in the shade Celestial

I'm so glad I did this is the perfect natural pink shade and I have worn it constantly since purchase. They really are amazing so soft and hydrating yet really pigmented and I love the brush for applying, I'm not a gloss girl so I was dubious but this is the perfect mix between gloss and lipstick, I'd say leaning more to the lipstick side! :) I want to try more shades now so definitely will be picking up more.

So that's my haul for you I hope you enjoy! If anyone wants further reviews on any of the products please do say as I'd be happy to review them further for you!

Has anyone tried anything from my haul? If so which ones? :) xxx

Lush Haul :)

A cheeky little Lush haul always lifts my spirits and this one didn't disappoint!

I love the concept behind Lush retro products! Finding one off treasures or products that were once loved then discontinued is so exciting!! (Or I just think it is because I'm sad, I know!! Haha)

Well that's what this haul is basically about I was having a mooch through the retro section online and just couldn't stop myself. By the end I was left with a very full basket so I thought it might be nice to share with you all what I got ...

STARCRAFT Cleansing Lotion 'Almighty oats, sparkling honeysuckle and amaranthine lavender to calmly cleanse, soothe and beautify the skin' This works the same way as a hot cloth cleanser, I loved the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish so I'm very excited to try this!

SWEET JAPANESE GIRL Oil Solid Cleanser 'Aduki bean, lemon and juniperry oil' like a balm or serum this is to be applied after make up is removed and before moisturiser! It smells amazing and is so cute!

THE KISS Lip Gloss This isn't from the retro section but the new valentines range, it smells incredible, feels highly moisturising on the lips giving a sheer pink tint. I'm addicted already!!

SHINE SO BRIGHT Hair Balm For Split Ends Again not from the retro section but I lost my first tub. This glossy balm is perfect for keeping in my bag when my hair feels a little frazzled!

FUN Green Lush tend to throw in samples all the time and I was excited as ever to see this one! It claims to be able to be used as everything from shampoo to a bubble bar so I'll definitely give it a go.

LIPLIME Lip balm! Back to my retro purchases, this silky smooth lip balm smells delightfully zesty as limes the key ingredient. Tastes incredible whilst keeping the lips hydrated for ages!!

SNUGGLE 'Traditionally people take showers to wake themselves up in the morning and baths to calm down at night, but many of us have one or the other. So we are delighted to introduce the sleep- inducing body butter for bed time' With all lovely things such as cocoa butter, lavender oil and chamomile I'm sure this will send me right off to sleep.

CERIDWEN'S CAULDRON Bath Melt! Again this one isn't a retro product.

'The oat and wildflower mix that remains in the bag was said to have magic beautifying properties. Squeeze the bag to release the oatmilk, which cools and calms the skin. Cocoa butter and walnut oil will leave your skin fed and nourished, whilst the essential oil blend will cast a fragrant spell around you' As I have very dry skin, especially as its been so cold this is what I'm most excited to try!

So these are my goodies from Lush for this month, hope you've enjoyed the gigantic essay! Haha :)

Has any one tried any others from the retro collection? If so let me know your thoughts!! :) xxx
